Please tell us a little about yourself, your business and your HCR journey:
As a personal trainer, yoga teacher and nutrition coach, I’ve seen the benefits that grow from taking a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. Feeling and moving our best happens most effectively when addressed from several angles. This is one of the reasons that the Holistic Core Restore® (HCR) programme appealed to me—it works on building optimum core functionality in a holistic manner. HCR isn’t just about doing some exercises; it’s about building awareness, releasing, healing and self-care. These elements are what lead to lasting transformation, and helping others create lasting transformation is why I’m in this business.
As a mum to two young kids and step-mother to three older children, I am very aware of the impact that pregnancy can have on our bodies and the effects that parenting can have on our prioritisation of self-care. I particularly enjoy working with mums in all stages of their journey with my pre & postnatal qualifications.
As a fitness professional in my forties, I am also very aware of how fluctuating hormone levels can change our bodies, motivation, response to training, recovery and so many other factors. HCR incorporates an approach that works with the body instead of fighting against it, which is exactly what’s needed at any stage of life, but perhaps particularly when we are going through some of these midlife shifts.
I am dedicated to guiding others through their journeys of restoration to achieve their goals and feel and move their best. I particularly appreciate the HCR programme as well as the network of professionals and other coaches which can be tapped into for advice and guidance, offering a truly individualised service to each woman.
