Please tell us a little about yourself, your business and your HCR journey:
I have been empowering women on their life journey for over 20 years. As a new parent, I became a La Leche League leader and breastfeeding educator. Lead by my evolution as a mother, I became a childbirth educator, certified nursing assistant in maternity, doula, (former) midwifery apprentice, and since 2013 a licensed massage therapist with perinatal certification. My hands-on and observational clinical and therapeutic experience has informed me of just how many mothers are disconnected from their own power center: their core and pelvic floor. Most women in my practice are struggling with pelvic floor issues, unresolved physical and emotional birth trauma, and poor results from exercises prescribed to them. While many programs out there are good, most of them have a missing component: a holistic, whole woman approach to overall wellness. Finding HCR was the “whole package” – the programs exceed USA standards in many areas, and the goal of “empowering every woman” is in complete alignment with my own. Most importantly, as a woman who has now entered the life stage of menopause, I get to walk my talk using the programs for myself, right alongside my clients from pre-conception to elder.
