Please tell us a little about yourself, your business and your HCR journey:
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1999 and initially specialised in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions. My passion for postnatal and pelvic health rehabilitation came after having my own children and the realisation that I should understand more about women’s health issues throughout a woman’s life phases. After making the decision to specialise in Women’s health Physiotherapy I’ve not looked back and I was delighted to have the opportunity to establish Body In Balance Physiotherapy and Women’s Wellness in 2020. I feel privileged to be able to support ladies of all ages and life phases with a holistic and whole body approach to their care. I see far too many women with pelvic health concerns who have often had to stop or significantly reduce their activity and exercise levels due to a fear of making their problems worse or the embarrassment of leaking. I’m thrilled to be able to offer Holistic Core Restore programs to empower, educate and support women to return to the things they love.
